According to you, what are the main trends and innovations in your field market?

Seamless user experience, transaction data management, cross device payments, fraud reduction, local payment diversification… these are some of the trends going on in the online payment industry. If I had to pick up a single innovation in this sector, I would go for payment data analytics.

Monitoring transaction data is too often set aside by merchants. Gathering order information (client’s name, email, type of purchase, shopping cart amount, IP address..) and transaction information (types of bank cards, issuing banks…), allows us to provide e-retailers critical information that can lead to several improvements and revenue uplifts.

Merchants are able to effectively tackle online frauds without degrading user experience and still guarantee high success rate. They can also enrich their CRM database and thus offer a unique and customized payment experience. The lack of interactions between physical and online shops is shrinking and gives merchant a single priority: using client data to drive activity growth whatever the purchasing channel is.

Who are your current customers and which audience would you like to reach?

HiPay supports well-known brands from different sectors in Europe for their payment implementation! Our customers include brands such as: Auchan, Nature & Découvertes, Promod, Alltricks, Kusmi Tea, Oclio (DPAM Group), The Kooples, L’Exception, Ankama, Pharmasimple… Each of them had specific needs (implementation of their marketplace, cross-border transactions, reducing their fraud rate, optimization of their mobile payments…) and chose to rely on our expertise in transaction management.

We are today able to help any merchant with complex payment issues: expansion of their activity abroad, data payment management, payment methods adapted to each market, effectively fight against fraud, marketplace regulation…

What motivated your decision to take part in E-Commerce Paris, a Paris Retail Week event?

E-Commerce Paris is one of the key events for French and European e-commerce. Visitors are looking for ideas, tools and innovative services to develop their activity. This trade show for HiPay is an opportunity to exchange and share our expertise as much with established businesses as new project owners.
