This is no surprise, but technology disrupted everything!
At first, the relationship between suppliers and customers is more and more reversed. The latter are no longer spectators, but become actors: they give their opinions through social media, they shape e-merchandising when websites are equipped with machine learning, they customize the items they want to buy in order to obtain totally unique products.
Also, people get used to the comfort offered by all these technologies. Customers are not only looking for the lowest prices anymore, they are looking for the greatest value at this price. This involves the gradual elimination of all the frictions and efforts that could occur before, during and after the purchase.
2. What are the main features of your solution and who is it made for?
Interactive recommendation and co-creation software such as configurators and shopping assistants are perfect for B2B and B2C players who have a technically complex and customizable offer such as DIY, electronics and multimedia, smart homes, furniture, sports...
For this type of involving purchase, it is far more efficient to let the customer create his ideal solution step by step based on the elements that are already in the product catalog. It could be, for example, a smart home set, a home cinema, a custom drone to assemble... Interactivity eliminates a lot of frictions due to the search for information in the product catalog, on the Internet and asking experts.
3. What represents the Paris Retail Week event for your business?
This is the first time we take part in an event of this magnitude. We hope we will make a lot of inspiring encounters, partners and clients of course. We also wish to inform people about collaboration and co-creation in e-commerce. Everybody talks about AI but there is not enough information about its different forms nor the nuances induced by the various purchase types.
