What are the main news, trends and innovations in your market or sector?

The financial technology sector is constantly evolving. The global commerce ecosystem is undergoing multiple transformations as technology transforms usage, particularly in the unique field of payment. With innovation at the heart of our DNA, we at Adyen are committed to keeping pace with these developments, so that we can better meet the needs of our merchants, with whom we work hand in hand. We have recently developed numerous solutions adapted to new consumer habits. These include the Tap-To-Pay solution for contactless payment, Instant Payouts, which supports platform users in their instant payment strategies, and MDC - Mise à Jour des Données Carte CB, which automatically updates customers' credit card information on merchant sites. We also have specific partnerships with players such as Shopify, to whom we have enabled to offer new functionalities to their users. With its technology, Adyen is adapting payment to the evolutions of commerce and new expectations.

What are the features of your solution, and who is it aimed at?

Adyen is a unique financial technology platform that caters for a wide range of players: large corporations, retailers, as well as small and medium-sized businesses via platforms and marketplaces. Our uniqueness lies in the fact that we are the only end-to-end payment solution available across all channels (online and offline) via a single platform, regardless of the country in which we are licensed. This frees merchants from the management headaches associated with multiple solutions, while delivering all the benefits of online and in-store commerce. The integration of a single partner like Adyen simplifies the payment value chain, giving our merchants complete control over the entire payment ecosystem, and enabling them to maximize their revenues.

What does Paris Retail Week mean for your business this year?

Paris Retail Week is a key event for us. It's a great opportunity to exchange with our ecosystem, our customers and our partners, to understand their new expectations. It's also an opportunity to meet potential prospects and show them the advantages of a unique financial technology platform like ours. We will be promoting our new products, namely our innovative payment terminals based on SoftPOS technology, as well as our integrated financial services such as Accounts, Capital and Issuing. Last but not least, we'll be showcasing our expertise and our customers in two themed workshops: the first with Longchamp, which has achieved significant economies of scale after launching a payment project. And the second with Cartes Bancaires and the launch of MDC - Mise à Jour des Données Carte CB, a solution designed to optimize the customer experience and support the growth of merchant sites.
